This Celtic Triskele design is typical of Iron age patterns found on sword scabbards. It can be found from Ireland to Britain to Hungary dating to the 1st century ad.  The Iron age Celts of Euorpe would have been trading goods with Mediteranian cultures.  Their containers of wine and food likely had with the typical key pattern of a wave.  It is a triskele in that it's pattern repeats every three steps not just two, this makes it intrinsically Celtic.  The triskele was worn for good luck.

This design represents Luck, Strength and Eternity.

This pattern is 10mm wide and is very contemporary given it's age.
