 One design has a Triskele Loveknot which spans the shank of the ring from each side.  (Model 331 and 375)

 The second design has each word separated by a symmetrical Loveknot, which resemble two hearts entwined.  (Model 190 and 253).  The center of each knot has enough space for a small 2pt diamond or birthstone if you where thinking of a family ring.
